The Certificate of Hawaiian Birth was issued to folks whose births weren’t registered. They were not issued to people whose births were registered, and the program was terminated in 1972.
It says she has submitted proof but does not say whether she was born in a particular place such as a home or a hospital in Hawaii. Nor do we get to know what the proof consists of. One wonders if there were not some standards as to what kind of proof sufficed that was set out somewhere.
