Kenya: 'I don't know' if Obama born in U.S.

Ambassador suggests question be put to American government

Kenyan Ambassador Peter N.R.O. Ogego is saying he's "infuriated" by a radio program's efforts to "misquote" him on the subject of President-elect Barack Obama's birthplace – but he refused to confirm whether Obama was born in the United States.

In an exclusive interview with WND today, Ogego was specifically asked whether Obama is a natural-born U.S. citizen.

"I don't know," he said with a tone of irritation. "You should ask your government. I know his father is Kenyan."

He continued with a rhetorical question: "Obama is an American, isn't he?"

On Nov. 6, only two days after the election, Detroit radio talk-show hosts Mike Clark, Trudi Daniels and Marc Fellhauer on WRIF's "Mike In The Morning" called the Embassy of Kenya in Washington, D.C., to speak with Ambassador Ogego...

“You should ask your government.” Uhhh yeah, our government doesn’t seem to care.

It might just care if you cared a little bit more ---

Yes, there is a chance that our government will violate ...

Based on what facts do you believe there it is simply a chance rather than a virtual certainty? By facts I mean actual activities taking place by any branch of our government or the electors themselves to investigate his background and determine his eligibility. Are there even any speeches from members of Congress or others that could influence the Electoral College on the issue?

The Electoral College meets on December 15. That is about two weeks from now. The ball is on our 5 yard line and the score is 70-0. I say fight like hell and keep fighting even after the game is over. So I agree with part of what you say. But I indeed know what the score is is and where the ball lies and I am not in denial.

You think there is simply a chance they will elect Obama on December 15?

I have NO faith that the Legislative or Executive branches will uphold their duty to the Constitution regarding this issue, unless they're threatened with the possibility of mass rebellion.

That being said, the fire which could compel the Legislative to act on this can only come from The People. So, you see the ball is actually in our court, if we desire a positive outcome to this situation through those branches.

Frankly, I'm pinning my hopes on the Judicial branch. I'm hoping like hell that they will compel the truth to be revealed about all this, and to render a judgment on the intent of the Founders' words that will set down a precedent about the citizenship qualification for President.

In the meantime, in lieu of major activist activities on Capitol Hill, we had better get busy writing letters to our elected reps and even our states electors about all this.

I say fight like hell and keep fighting even after the game is over. So I agree with part of what you say.

I, too, am facing the probability that none of our three branches of government will execute their duties under the Constitution to resolve this question before January 20th. If that be the case, then they are cowards who are going to allow this issue to fester, grow, and worsen into a far greater danger to the republic, than if it were swiftly dealt with now.

This issue will be dealt with. It's my hope that those holding positions of the public trust will utilize the political and judicial solutions to this issue, while there is still time. If cowards and thugs rule the day, then that will only leave the last option for a solution, which is civil. The cowards and thugs had better start writing their own epitaphs, if they elect to foist the solution onto The People.

You know, the men who trained those Arabs how to fly a plane only, not train to land, were afraid to say anyything for fear of looking ‘crazy’ and ‘paranoid’.

Can you imagine how many times that people working close to Obama and his top campaign staff witnessed similar things, of which they had strong misgivings, but were too afraid to voice?

PBS has been playing a series on the Jim Jones saga recently. One of the things that stands out in it, is the testimony of the surviving members. They all say that the cult of personality, control, and intimidation was so strong, that no one was willing to voice their concerns to anyone else in the group.

Viewing that, and realizing the parallels between the cults of Jim Jones and Barack Obama gave me cold chills.

Not since Hitler's time has such a dangerous cult of personality played on so large a stage.

The press corps that worked on his plane called him “creepy”. Hardly admirable. That frightens me more than anything else, their description of him.

This guy has had my radar pinging off the pin since I first started paying attention to him, and I've never spent much time watching him closely.

I can only imagine the sort of impressions that people close to him privately hold. I'm sure a lot of them have observed things that gave them real pause, and caused them internal conflicts.

It reminds me of stories of the internal sabotage that occurred within the Nazi regime of the 40's. There were a lot of Germans who were close to Hitler, and who were horrified enough about what they saw with their own eyes, that some attempted to assassinate him.

No doubt, there are some in Obama's camp who are beginning to feel the same sort of queasiness about him now.

I’ve posted on the comments my kids’ have made.

My 12 year old said when John McCain smiled, she wanted to smile. But when Obama smiled, he made her uncomfortable.

My 7 year old said “Obama makes my stomach hurt when he talks”.

Children are excellent perceptors of characters. My radar has been going off too and I have not for the life of me figured out how those could go so extremely overboard for him.

Their radar's pinged them too, but they sold out their core human principles long ago, and are lost unto Men. Sad and worthless creatures, the lot of them.

Do you remember in LOTR when (I think it was) Frodo asks Gandalf how the Orcs came to be?

Gandalf answers that, "They were once Elves, you know, before the Dark Lord took them".

Orcs, Obots -- same difference.

What can you do? At the very least you can adopt an attitude of outrage. You continue to state publicly and rationally that his behavior is unacceptable. The left takes advantage of the fact that repeated lies become accepted as truth. We should at least continue to repeat the truth until it becomes accepted as truth.

First, thank you for serving our country.

When I used the phrase, “duck and cover”, I guess some of you aren't familiar with that one. In the early late 50s, early 60, that was what was taught if/when we were hit with a nuclear attack.Believe me, I know that outrage you speak of, I have it.

Not for myself, but for my loved ones, especially my 2 precious grandbabies, who I feel are not safe in our country with the ONE who was elected.

I'm at a loss, watching what those poor innocent people are going through in India, and know that that is probably what is to come here, with such a weak upcoming administration.

God help us all.
