They also made piles of money off the chief suspects during the run up of the “crisis”. In fact, the chief players in bringing us the meltdown, all met with Obama at once prior to the roll out of his campaign, and helped pull the money away from Clinton. So yes, the bankers and the DemonRATS created the crisis, managed it's timing, and reaped the benefits. Now they get to make the rules to “undo the crisis”, which is not likely, because the more they interfere, the longer it will take to self correct. Anyone that believes that DemonRATs are civic minded public servants in all this has a room temperature IQ.
