Obama was only saying he’ll try to find Bin Laden, and the conservative Right acts as though he’s promised the impossible...
Plenty of right-wingers (including me) mocked and continue to mock McQueeg (plus GWB and others) when he says lame, phony, or irritating things.
Obama has promised SO MUCH that is impossible that anything else he spurts out is kinda hard to take.
