Aligning Hillary Clinton & Sarah Palin Is Insulting (barf alert)

To align Sarah Palin with Hillary Clinton on any level other than gender is both disingenuous and insulting.

She has been the governor of a state whose economic structure (among other things) is unlike that of any other state in the country; 80 percent of their revenue is based in oil and gas!

It’s too convenient and easy to pin her inadequacies on “the press’ demeaning” portrayal of her. To be fair, Sen. [John] McCain was the one who put her into this position, as Pete kindly pointed out to me; the guy who was willing to lose an election before winning the Iraq war, was apparently more concerned about winning an election than running with a competent vice president.

Doesn’t really jive with the whole “Country First” theme. It wasn’t too difficult to read into the selection of Gov. Palin.

While I admire her tenacity and perseverance, at some point a person must take personal responsibility when overreaching.

This is not to detract from her accomplishments, but rather to draw attention to the fact that so many Americans were willing to buy into the image of Sarah Palin as opposed to the substance.

The idea of electing candidates to the highest office in the country because they’re “like” you is absurd. I want the leader of my country to be smarter than me. This doesn’t mean I’m stupid…oh contraire, it makes me smart!!

Sarah Palin is not a stupid woman, but what she lacks is exactly what President-Elect Obama possesses. Those who excel in any intellectual arena exhibit the ability to formulate higher thought based on the processing of information, not merely repeating it.

When a person merely repeats what they’ve been told, we wind up with a President [George] Bush.

Didn't Palin essentially align herself with Hillary during her acceptance speech at the Republican Convention?

Since Hussein has left no accomplishments behind - no legal articles, no legislation - what exactly is she talking about?

I agree. Hillary has always ridden on someone's coat tails.

Sarah made her own way.

Is this newspaper Caldwell as in West Caldwell NJ? What is it best known for? Hmm.....maybe the on-screen home of Tony Soprano?

It is insulting!

Palin has actually made her own way in the world, while Hillary has done nothing but ride her cheating husbands coattails.

Palin worked her way up form local government to her states highest office, Hillary is a carpet bagger who was elected solely because of her last name.

Being born in Kenya?

A nice sun tan?

A communist for a mentor?

Terrorists for friends?

The writer somehow has it in her head that Obama and Hillary are accomplished people.

Thats the punch line.

When a person merely repeats what they’ve been told, we wind up with a President [George] Bush.

Merely repeating what you have been told eliminates the requirement that one actually think and reason. Therefore, you wind up being a liberal.

The whole thing is full of MST3000 one liners.

I guess the person who wrote it is not very smart.

These people are insane. Why dig at Sarah now? She's not running for office, she has her hands full with the job she already has and was duly elected to.

I was aware the print media was in desperate economic times, but was completely unaware they resorted to hiring typing-monkeys. This screed is complete rubbish.

They are digging at Sarah because she is campaigning in the Georgia Senate runoff for the Republican candidate. [energizing the base to get out and vote on Dec. 2].

“...but what she lacks is exactly what President-Elect Obama possesses”.

...which would be...WHAT!? Man. It is soooo pathetic how these idiots constantly make sh&% up when it comes to what BO “possesses”. HE doesn’t even know!!!! Is he a good dancer? Does she make a good ommelette? Menthol or regular BO? Which amendment in the Constitution do you hate the most BO? Or do you plan on wiping your a$$ with all of them?

Sarah didn’t ride her husband’s coatails to the governorship. Hillary the carpetbagger wouldn’t be a NY Senator if she weren’t married to Bill.

Intelligence has absolutely nothing to do with morality or wisdom. Nor does it qualify one to lead. That being said, Bush is no idiot. He beat them every time. What does that say about their intellect?
