Isn’t there a way to get this to a judge that would be favorable to furthering the issue?
My guess is there isn't one who has the guts. And even if there were he would be overturned by another court.

I’d hold out hope though maybe the pessimists are correct.
This is something that I’d find hard to envision that so much of the country would just throw their hands up and say “big deal” or “we can’t do anything about it.”

Two cases are already in SCOTUS’s bailiwick (Berg and Donofrio). A third (Wrotnowski) has landed and been rejected by Justice Ginsburg, but it is being punted over to Judge Scalia.
We may have a landmark ruling before the end of the year - What constitute’s a “natural born citizen”.
Justice Thomas recommended the Donofrio case for conference on Dec 5 (10 days before the electoral college meets to cast its votes). Four of the 9 justices at the private conference must vote in favor of further proceedings. One assumes a quick, emergency hearing should four agree.
