We live in a democracy, if the people truly wanted to deport the illegals, they would.

Here in California a few years back we passed Prop 187 which essentially cut off any non citizen from getting schooling, welfare, free medical etc.

If honored, it would have caused an Exodus of Illegal Criminal Insurgent Invader Alien Colonists to other states and Mexico.

No need to deport anyone if we just enforce our laws.

One judge deemed it "unconstitutional" and therefore made it null and void.

"Democracy" didn't work because of a criminal constitutionally illegal decision by one judge.

Oh and BTW this country is a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy. It was set up that way for good reason.

We live in a democracy, if the people truly wanted to deport the illegals, they would. As it stands the allegedly anti-illegal immigration party, nominated a pro-amnesty candidate. Clearly the voters, even conservative voters, could care less about illegal immigration.

Number one we don't live in a democracy.

Number two..."the people" do want to deport illegals, but the "peoples" government doesn't.

Number three, the "people" of the Pubbie Party got McCain shoved down their throats.

Number four....you are "clearly" wrong....

If you kick 14 million people out of the US, what will happen to the housing market?

What would happen to the drug dealers' families if 14 million Spanish-speaking criminal distributors and consumers disappeared?

What would happen to La Raza's membership income and staff compensation if 20 million la razas went home?

Who *cares*?

Number one: Democracy and republican government are not mutually exclusive. Our nation is both.

Number two: Wrong. The people don’t hold the governments feet to the fire. Pro-amnesty candidates are elected and reelected. You don’t see millions demonstrating at the capitol. How many senators lost reelection because they opposed building the fence? How many congressmen lost their seats because they supported amnesty?

Number three: McCain wasn’t shoved down anybodies throat. he won the primary. He wasn’t just pro-illegal, he was the MOST pro-illegal candidate and he won anyway. As we speak he is scheming with Obama to pass the amnesty bill. People knew this and voted for him regardless.

Here is a bright idea, defeat McCain next time he runs for senate! he is running in 2010, why cant we run a conservative against him? The left does this all the time, when is the last time you saw a grassroots conservative campaign against a RINO?

You need to read up some....

Were you around when Bush and the Fed's tried amnesty last time? Millions of working folks generally don't march on Washington...but we do and did call, fax, e-mail, and write letters. Guess what "we" stoppd them. Just because the MSM / DBM make you apparently "think" illegal immigration isn't important....doesn't make it so.

Please describe the Primaries to me....How are they done? When does Texas ( one of the MOST populated sates in the U.S. ) get to vote in the Primaries? Let me say it again....McCain was SHOVED down our throats.

fwiw-

"14 MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS"

I bet there are many more than that.

This issue is the main reason I was disgusted that McCain was our candidate.
Now, he will vote with the 'Rats, and we will get amnesty almost surely.

Pat Boone is a national treasure!

Bump that!
Excellent post!

I am a long time member of NUMBERSUSA, and have just joined FAIR.
I urge others to join, as well.

I give credit to these groups for stopping the amnesty bills...twice!
Maybe, with more members, they will be able to stop it, again!
