Cats in the Cradle and Taxi are pretty strong in the sad department.
I was young when
Cats In The Cradle was a hit, so I never really listened to the lyrics while I really enjoyed the melody. Recently I really listened to the words with the song and came to understand that this is indeed a very sad song, of course from the perspective of now having kids.
