who will NOT fail
Apart from the selection of Hillary Clinton, which is clearly a quid pro quo, we have little to complain about so far, under the circumstances. Honest people will admit that it could have been far worse (you know, Bill Ayers for secretary of education, etc...).
Let's not be whiners and ankle biters. It only makes us look small and irrelevant, and I suspect we'll have plenty of real issues to complain about in the next eight years .
I have my nomex on, so flame away.
“even if he is finally forced to reveal that he is not a natural born citizen.”
Here, you raise a most interesting scenario.
Would the military follow orders from a non-qualified President? Could they?
Both of these questions raise the issue of “duly qualified”.
Interesting times approach.
I've wondered about that, too. One of the great boasts of our country, I think, is that we have never had a military that took off on its own and decided to oppose our government. However, we've never had a situation before where the holder of the office of President, and thus the Commander in Chief, is potentially in violation of the Constitution. I hope the Supreme Court takes this up, because there are many important issues here.
It's certainly possible that Barry is a natural born citizen. But then, it's also possible that he's not. And what then? For one thing, he would obviously have been aware of this at the time of running for president, and I doubt that he was the only one. What are the criminal implications of this?
True, but when he stands before the Lord he will have nothing to be ashamed of. He didn't compromise his principles. Why should he stoop down to their low-life level?
I can't say the same for the pro-baby-killing dems. They will have plenty to answer for, and "it's Bush's fault" is not going to wash.
