” By then, he and his regime will be a fait accompli, and”

I find it hard to believe thaqt Obozo is actually ineligible but if he is he won’t be sworn in. He won’t be President. The Law will be followed. Period.

I hope so! I personally doubt that Obama qualifies, because I can't think of any reason for him to go to so much expense and trouble to hide his birth certificate if he could easily reveal it without any seriously negative consequences. The current suit that seems most promising in terms of forcing him to reveal this, btw, is one that challenges the eligibility of both McCain and Obama. It would be quite something if they were both found ineligible! I guess we'd have a do-over, or perhaps Congress would select the president. It would certainly be an unprecedented situation and probably one the Founders hadn't even dreamed of when they wrote the rule.

He will be sworn in on Jan 20. Whether he is eligible or not is a moot point. For democrats the Constitution is a dead letter, "a little problem" as Tom D'Asshole once put it, and is in the process of being brushed aside, possibly for good. There seems to be precious little interest on the part of the GOP in saving it.
