Barack Obama's liberal base is furious over his decision to pick centrist members for his cabinet and for bringing the Clintons back to the White House.
Obama has angered the far left by retaining Robert Gates as defense secretary, and retired General Jim Jones as national security advisor. And with Hillary Clinton set to take the helm of the State Department, hope and change has taken a back seat to 'stay the course'.
Gates was the architect of the troop surge, which paved the road for what now can be called a decisive victory in the Iraq war. With that in mind, it is highly unlikely that Obama will withdraw our military within the original time frame that he outlined during the campaign. It is also improbable that the defense budget will be slashed anytime soon, as the attention of the war on terror will now turn toward Afghanistan. This will stick in the craw of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, as well as Obama's puppet master George Soros.
Meanwhile, it is being reported that Obama has developed a chronic facial tic brought on by the stress of the presidential campaign. The Secret Service has also had to increase security due to more threats on his life than any other president-elect in history has received. The spasmodic anomaly has supposedly left his wife Michelle very distraught. The pressure that Obama has been under is only bound to increase with the economic downturn set to get worse before it gets better, and world tensions will take their toll as well.
One can only hope that the "messiah" doesn't develop Tourette Syndrome before Inauguration Day. That could prove interesting.

Hmmm. I wonder if SNL and other media outlets will portray 0’s tics as something to be made light of like Pres.Bush’s language “difficulties” or Pres. Fords tendencies towards clumsiness?

[LOL. I’m sorry, but I’m beginning to find his predicament pretty funny. He doesn’t know a thing and will soon step into the most powerful job in the world. There’s something Kubrickian about the whole situation.
It also reminds me a bit of James Coburn’s performance in a very funny film called “The President’s Analyst.” If I remember correctly, he also developed some sort of facial tic brought on by the stress of having to psychoanalyze the POTUS.
Just as the lisping “s” (pronounced as a “th”) in Castilian Spanish was apparently begun as a sign of support by Spanish subjects for their king (who sufferend from this speech impediment), perhaps lefties will purposely adopt this tic as their own — to show respect and support.

That's a very good way of putting something that I've been trying to express on the bc threads. Some people continue to raise the spectre of "riots across the country - looting and pillaging - mayhem and murder" if the Obots don't get their Messiah in office.
I say bull. Only a very small fraction of the Obots have the stomach to commit mayhem and disorder. The rest of the Obot rainbow movement only have the courage to carry protest signs, and most don't even have that.
Any bets on how long it takes for the facial tics to lead to full blown psychosis.

Good for you, Redbob. I was hoping someone would catch that. Gates was toodling along with the Iraq Surrender Committee until he got co-opted and sent to Defense. I was actually worried that he would try to undermine the strategy, but, to the best of my knowledge, he did not.
Its either Bush’s fault, or caused by CO2.
The weighty duties of the President Elect (i.e. break promises, distance himself from supporters, fending off patronage requests, deal with special interest groups you tricked into supporting you) have taken their toll on his health.
Wait til he unloads some other bombshells: Nobody gets a tax break (who knew), he really won’t give college students and extra $5,000 (didn’t see that coming), immediate Iraq pullout - never really meant that at all.
And one day, probably around two and a half years from now, some renegade MSM reporter is going to stop blaming Bush for everything, and hold Obama accountable for his actions. I can only hope he does this while Obama is trying to eat a waffle.
world net daily had the film of the Walters interview. You have to enlarge it to full screen and really look. It is located below his Right cheekbone and is subtle, occurs intermittently. I would not have seen it if I hadn’t looked for it.
It is very subtle,,I am surprised anyone noticed it.

Hah! It was hard to watch him. I am always struck with what a light weight he is. He is truly the lightest weight pres I have ever seen and that includes Carter.

I watched that video several times with the sound turned down so I would not be distracted, and I honestly cannot detect a tic or anything I would consider close to a tic in that video. I think it’s subjective at this point, and it could be him reacting to bright lights for Baba Wawa’s interview.
One example does not make a trend.
I’m not making excuses for The One here, but I simply don’t see a tic at this time. I’m open to any additional evidence that pops up, but I’m waving off on this one, at least for now....
