As I recall, Boeing moved it’s headquarters out of Seattle a while ago and is no longer “Seattle based” as the writer claims. Could be wrong, but that is what I seem to remember.
You’re correct. Its headquarters are in Chicago.
Executive offices and marketing are in Chicago. The vast majority of their US employees are scattered around the Seattle area, largely in Kent, Renton, and Everett.
