In speeches and interviews McCain:
* Has invoked a variety of justifications for using force, from defending the nation's security, allies, interests and "principles and values" to halting genocide in places such as Darfur and Kosovo and salvaging U.S. "credibility." FYI

In my honest opinion McLame lost it when he sign onto that POS Bailout Bill.
I made up my mind right then and there that I will NEVER support (however tepidly) another Senator for POTUS again. NEVER!

I think that Bob Dole was actually a worse candidate than John McCain was.
Dole, on the other hand was a better Senator and a better man for the job.
The Republican Party now lays in ashes partly because of McCain's incompetence.
Tell me something that I did not know 6 months ago.

The “old guard” went with an old, Bob Dole-esque candidate because it was “his turn.” McCain was old like Dole, a bad candidate like Dole, represented a “new right” wing of the party like Dole, ran a bad campaign like Dole....so was it really any surprise the election ended in a Dole-like result?
No more Bob Doles or John McCains as the party’s nominees, please.

Republican presidential hopeful John McCain fixed his sights on Saddam Hussein long before President Bush sent the U.S. military to oust the Iraqi dictator in March 2003. So did Bill and Hillary Clinton and half the libs in Congress. Looks like he continues to run with the same crowd in thought and deed..

It’s too bad he didn’t evolve into retirement before he polluted the Republican primary elections and ended up handing Obama a victory.
