You Ramos and Campean people are an embarassment, and are wedge-drivers. I suspect most of you are Bush-haters who solely use this issue to foster more BDS. They lied about what happened. How dare you slam President Bush for not pardoning LIARS? I hope he does NOT pardon them, they don’t deserve it.

I was probably supporting Bush before, and stronger, than you apologists.
But he just plain lost my confidence, and I still cannot even comprehend, by turning his back on those two Agents.
When that happened, I remember when GWB was starting to discuss the idea of running ... back in 2000. Remember then? Remember how he initially paused, and seemed to have second thoughts? Remember there were oblique references to his youth?
Where did our president, spend his wild youth?

I really sometimes wonder, whether Bush is the one making our policy decisions re: Mexico.

I love Bush, but on this one he was wrong.
They violated policy, and ought to have been fired. They should not be doing hard time.
They aren’t the only ones being prosecuted; several others are, for even less cause.
Sutton is an embarrassment. He was protecting the drug dealer who continued to run drugs, up until he was embarrassed into action by media attention. And then, when he went after the drug dealer, he violated his own word to the guy. He is a disgrace.
I think Ramos and Compean deserve to be treated like illegals. Cut them loose so they will be free to do, whatever it is they did, again.
The problem I see with this case is that some scumbag was allowed to testify against agents and the fact that he was a scumbag was kept from jurors.
How do you do a good job concerning national security and the WOT and not secure the borders? We need the military down there and not border agents. The rules and laws need to be changed so that our sovereignty is not trampled by invaders with impunity. A law was passed for a fence and for some reason Bush didn’t feel the law applied to him. That was okay though, his gal Kay Bailey put the fence in the hands of old Janet from Arizona under cover of the Omnibus Bill. I suppose it is a matter of semantics in the end. Do the thousands of US citizens killed by illegals feel any terror? If so, that is going to put a dent in the “Bush was great on the WOT” meme.
