The trees offeredsouthern magnolia, small leaf tristania, strawberry and New Zealand Christmas treesmay not look traditional, but they all thrive in the area's climate. So does this one:
Of course, they probably wouldn't get too many of these turned in after Christmas (at least with the leaves still on), but they would sure sell a bunch.

Where the renewable resource non-deforested trees glisten
And state-supervised children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the rain, due to man-made global warming (and not snow).
I'm dreaming of a non-denominational Holiday
With every seasonal email I compose
May your days be merry but not tarnished by consumption of excess carbon fuels or alcoholic beverages.
And may all your seasonal celebrations be appropriate.
