Wheaton used to be a nice community. After an absence from the area, I was struck by how many Hispanics live there now - there was even English/Spanish signs in one of the chain drug stores on Georgia Ave. I couldn’t believe it. When did these people start taking over our cities?

I have no problem with diversity in a neighborhood, what I have a problem with is catering to one group - I don’t see signs in Korean - especially when that one group is here illegally.

I would say about 20 years ago, after the amnesty put into effect during the Reagan administration.
