If these people are going to simply TRAIN local law enforcement on NUKE, BIO, type terrorism, then I have no problem with it. Normal cops do not get bio training. Few if any police forces have a bio department.

The Posse Comitatus Act of June, 1878, is no longer convenient, so it will be ignored by the liberals. Why am I not surprised?

Read the whole article - it seems to me that the intent is quite a bit more than “training” - somewhat of a supplemental role, which IMO is a clear violation of the Posse Comitatus Act.

I don’t mind as long as they are within no more than a few miles from an international border or coastline, and the guns stay pointed outward. They are even fine to be stationed at international airports on the “outside” part of the customs area.

Off duty, they are welcome anywhere free citizens can go, of course.
