We were busy trying to hammer him into a political mold, (one which happens to fit, IMO), but the obvious, (that all politicians are con men, only statesmen are not) eluded us all at a fundamental level.
OK so we know he is a con man. The real scary thing is 60+ million people in this country voted for him. Think about that one!
