Sounds like he was pretty honest about his feelings. Since the election, people have been talking about Obama, Palin, Hillary, and even McCain. But Biden is already well on his way to obscurity.

I think its kind of endearing in a way, that he is so taken with her. She is attractive and smart, and they would do well for themselves to listen to her energy ideas.

I also think it was correct for him and Obama to recognize her today. She is what made the race, after all.
