Obama's Years at Columbia Are a Mystery He Graduated Without Honors By ROSS GOLDBERG, Special to the Sun | September 2, 2008 SHARE|PRINT|EMAIL Senator Obama's life story, from his humble roots, to his rise to Harvard Law School, to his passion as a community organizer in Chicago, has been at the center of his presidential campaign. But one chapter of the tale remains a blank his education at Columbia College, a place he rarely speaks about and where few people seem to remember him. Contributing to the mystery is the fact that nobody knows just how well Mr. Obama, unlike Senator McCain and most other major candidates for the past two elections, performed as a student. The Obama campaign has refused to release his college transcript, despite an academic career that led him to Harvard Law School and, later, to a lecturing position at the University of Chicago. The shroud surrounding his experience at Columbia contrasts with that of other major party nominees since 2000, all whom have eventually released information about their college performance or seen it leaked to the public.

Where were all these questions when it would have done some good?
Were Clinton’s grades ever released? I have no memory of that.
Because he skipped school and lived with the Ayers “family”
and no, I’m not kidding in the least.
Yeah, the chapter stretching from just before his birth up until the start of his presidential campaign. Other than that, he's an open book...
I guess Harvard will allow lesser-qualified applicants on other criteria than grades and accomplishment. Many of these criteria are race, gender, ethnicity and athletic ability.
The presumption always seems to be that Democrats are smart and Republicans are dumb. What, Gore and Kerry had lower grades than Bush? That just goes to show that grades don’t always mark intelligence. What, Senator Bradley got a “relatively low score of 485 on the verbal SAT”? Well, it just goes to show that SAT scores don’t mean anything.
I beg to differ. Bradley was a good basketball player, but he must have been a real dummy to have gotten 485 on his verbal SAT. That’s darned near moron level. And frankly, Bradley never struck me as being very bright.
What about Obama, however? The article veers off on these other politicians because we don’t know a damned thing about Obama. And he ain’t talkin’. And unlike the case of Bush, no one’s leakin’.
Obama will elease nothing and conservatives will raise a stink that the public will ignore. Until 0bamas first HUGE mistake we’ll have nothing on the guy. Anything until then looks like desperate partisan attacks.
BTTT
Back in the old days (I'm somewhat younger than Bradley but not much, and I went to the same school), you got 400 points on each half of the SAT just for signing your name.
But in those days the Athletic Department had a much freer hand to recruit good athletes. Now, they're not even allowed to contact them (Ivy League rules).
LOL! I received an ecstatic e-mail from a European friend when it was announced that the Messiah had won (Europeans really wanted him to win), and I told her that we had never, ever, in the many presidential campaigns I have lived through, had a candidate who was such a complete unknown. She didn't seem to believe that mattered, but I certainly do.
The story is from Sept 2nd, and The Sun went out of business in October so this is old news. Andy McCarthy at NRO Corner dealt with this at the end of October. My take has been tha Obama never completed Columbia, and spent his time in NYC making connections providied by his Hawaii mentor Frank. This is where he met Ayers for the first time, and made other radical connections, including the seemingly respectable Black leader, media mogul, and one time boro President of Manhattan and mayoral candidate Percy Sutton, who recommended Obama to Harvard.
They know about Barry: he is an affirmative action baby, who rode the discrimination express to the very top. Just call him brainy, and keep moving is the MSM modus operandi.
I suppose this means that Chinese and Vietnamese Americans can apply for WW2 internment reparations
Zer0 may have some “splainin” to do after December 5, if SCOTUS grows a pair and “axes” a few questions!
listen to the end of this video about Colubia....the video is short and worth watching....

This guy is truly a blank, nobody knows anything about him. And it's been so carefully hushed up -- my paper trail is so wide that anybody could find out ANYthing about me . . . .
Bingo!

I'm looking forward to the European reaction to Zero's first betrayal of the NATO compact, ie letting Europe defend its own Green Commie Pacifist self for the first time in a half dozen decades. They'll get to watch Putin aim SS-20s at Paris, roll tanks into Georgia, and have Zero say that both the EU and the Russians must show restraint...
All I can say is, brother, Europe has earned it. Maybe those rubber Bush masks and flammable American flags that always showed up in the protests are Chem/Bio/Nuke resistant, and they use them for protection from what they are about to receive. But I doubt it.
Who is this cypher? Really - who is he?
Is this even the same person that attended Columbia as Barack Obama?
Where was this man born.
Is he the real Barack Obama at all?
Over 60 million people voted for him without the slightest idea who or what he really is.
As they say:
“Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.”
