Well, she obeyed the command to Be Fruitful and Multiply. Interesting that no conservatives of faith seem to mention this and come to her defense.

yeah, yeah, yeah.... now is it "conservatives" or Christians? Neither is mutually exclusive.

Cause conservatives say, that you pay for your own. Now about the Christian part..

... I'm sure that it says somewhere that we should treat her like we'd like to get treated.

I'm sure that the Bible might say something like "judge not lest ye be judged"...

and I'm sure that the Bible might mention that she's not supposed to be having sex outside of marriage, care for her own children, try to keep the men she humps down from triple to at least.... double digits.... and to not be the neighborhood bicycle (everybody gets to ride her).

So there is a lot of Christian stuff that can get slung around.... kinda like her on her back, I suppose.

How 'bout we let Christ figure it out and we just comment on the events as we sinful, prideful, un-Christian FReepers see it.

It's kinda fun to see how great the "Great Society" has become. Anytime you want the government involved in behavior modification, this woman and her gaggle should be the poster faces of the government.

The Bible talks at great lengths about money and materials. The ones who mention the treating like we'd want to be treated, do it at AVOIDING everything else the Bible teaches. Its easier to avoid the situation and the causes than to confront them.

The Bible does say to judge not, lest thou be judge. But the VERY next thing that it does say, is that by the very standards you judge, is the way you will be judged.

People have used Matthew 7:1 to avoid scrutiny for centuries. Unfortunately a lot of the true meaning is lost in translation. We are using the word Judge to cover 2 or 3 meanings. The verse(s) are talking about "judging" or condemnation of another person, but the Bible also talks about judgement that would better be described as discernment. That is not bad "judgement"

In this case the judging going on here is a mixture of both discernment and condemnation. The woman has obviously NOT shown any discernment on her part, and people are condemning her for it.

The Bible teaches principals to live by. It also teaches that when you abuse or disregard those principals, all bets are off. The Bible also teaches those of us who are interreacting with this person, of how we should be. We SHOULD be kind and caring and generous, WITH discretion. The Bible teaches that we are to come along side this person to offer aide and comfort with Biblical counsel. If that Biblical counsel is refused ar not heeded, we no longer are under obligation to help. AT ALL.
