Breaking OPEC ought to be a standard, consistent foriegn policy goal of the United States. Drying up their supply of money is like bombing railroads and factories in WW2. Now would be the time to do it, while low demand has run the prices down. Also we need nuclear energy. If the French can do it, surely we can too.
