But there are a number of blue dogs also. Where they exist, they need to be worked by the constituencies to which they have displayed any affinity - and hard. This could be the last stand.

For some reason, I never saw the final vote total in the Georgia run off vote. How much did Chambliss win by?

Chambliss was somewhere over 60% I think.

I was so thrilled when Hagel was gone.

So far the count is something like 316 for Coleman ahead of Franken, with 98% of the recount in. According to the latest number on Drudge.

I think that Justice should investigate Franken, ACORN, and every Dem voting fraud, corruption before Bush leaves office. Make them come before attorneys as they always want Pubs to do. I hope Coleman uses every legal action to stop Franken from stealing the election. Go all out and put him and the Dems on the hot stove.

>>Ann Coulter predicts Franken will win the same way the Dem governor of Washington won: they both have the same “adviser,” a guy named Berendt who is an accomplished vote thief.

I read that, but Ann might be wrong here because the Coleman - Franken case is getting much more national scrutiny because of the filibuster issue.

As seasoned a politician as he is- McCain seemed to have been caught off guard a time or two about the things dims would say about him. His “friends” across the aisle and in the media seemed to surprise him when they trashed him.

The RINOs will never learn they are only useful idiots to the left.

No, I was speaking of the moderate democrat, really the only one in the senate, from Nebraska. We will see how the new guy from Alaska turns out.

I think more than the RINO’s, the repub’s you will see flocking to Obama are the ones with no political courage or principles.

Kiss up to the boss types.

Don’t be foolish OF COURSE they will still try to steal MN. A seat is a seat. 59 is better than 58.

Those chumps need to be replaced with conservative Republicans.

Chambliss may have also saved the life of an unnamed republican senator in addition to Coleman.

A wacko leftist would have to be sorely tempted to take out Collins, Snowe, Voinovich, Spectre, or other blue state republican if that meant getting 60.

And there are a lot of wacko leftists.

If the shoe were on the other foot, there would be more than a few wacko right wingers thinking something similar.

Sorry but as long as you have the likes of Specter and Voinovich etc. this magic 60 number is the most irrelevant topic on these pages.

And McCain and Graham

And Coleman at times. I think it's likely he would have voted for amnesty last year but sensed that the wind was blowing from the opposite direction.
