His father was in Panama for military services. They did not have a military hospital until quite a few years after McCain was born. So, he was not born in a military hospital which would have been considered US soil.
He was born on a base which is US Soil though, was he not?
But didn’t we own Panama at the time?
Or was it just the canal?
