The Real Bill Ayers

Chicago

IN the recently concluded presidential race, I was unwillingly thrust upon the stage and asked to play a role in a profoundly dishonest drama. I refused, and here’s why.

Unable to challenge the content of Barack Obama’s campaign, his opponents invented a narrative about a young politician who emerged from nowhere, a man of charm, intelligence and skill, but with an exotic background and a strange name. The refrain was a question: “What do we really know about this man?”

Secondary characters in the narrative included an African-American preacher with a fiery style, a Palestinian scholar and an “unrepentant domestic terrorist.” Linking the candidate with these supposedly shadowy characters, and ferreting out every imagined secret tie and dark affiliation, became big news.

I was cast in the “unrepentant terrorist” role; I felt at times like the enemy projected onto a large screen in the “Two Minutes Hate” scene from George Orwell’s “1984,” when the faithful gathered in a frenzy of fear and loathing.

With the mainstream news media and the blogosphere caught in the pre-election excitement, I saw no viable path to a rational discussion. Rather than step clumsily into the sound-bite culture, I turned away whenever the microphones were thrust into my face. I sat it out.

Now that the election is over, I want to say as plainly as I can that the character invented to serve this drama wasn’t me, not even close. Here are the facts:

Your own actions and words speak louder than your denial, Commie.

I don’t recall abortion clinic bombers who worked at night being exempted from criticism for their actions.

I just heard O J’s diatribe. Don’t they both sound the same? Two pukes that will always be skunks. Let’s throw Ole Jane Fonda in it also.

Oh, so, Barry and you saw each other in passing at the coffee shop!

So how come once you created a community organization, why did you appoint your coffee friend to the title of Chairman of the Board??

Then why did you allow your coffee friend access to your house, while you helped write his autobiography!

Then, why did you host your coffee friend’s kickoff to his run for the state Senate?

Mr Ayers, you got some more ‘splainin to do!

Technically neither did Charlie Manson.

In the book by the Manson prosecutor Charles Bugliosi, he recounts that Manson did in fact confess to the murder of one of his followers whom he claimed to have beheaded. Manson and two others were later convicted of this murder.

I used to see this jerk on the Post Office wall every day of my life back in the 70's along with his wife Bernardine and their weird friend Kathy Boudin.

People were terrified of the Weathermen, even ordinary liberal leftists. These psychopaths were hardened killers, no different from the Symbionese Army freaks.

Everyone stopped having any sympathy for them when the horrors in Cambodia started coming out in the late 70's. These were the garbage who thought the Khmer Rouge were righteous.

Because that's what they planned to do to the U.S..

And now this frozen faced madman can run around and talk down his hyper violent past? With the bodies of his victims always behind him?

Dear God. That a President was ever even acquainted with him should be a disturbing taint.

Worst association EVER of a President. His mentor had wet dreams about executing those who would not be re-educated.

I’m sure the families of Weathermen victims will sleep easier now.

I hope the only reason he’s not in hell is that the Devil hasn’t devised a sufficient punishment at this time.

Yes I knew of that. I was just mocking Ayers comments as Some of the charges Charlie was convicted on were of the conspiracy. Recently they are looking again in the area, as they have some info. about some bodies that Charlie may have been in on as the killer.

William Ayers, a professor of education revisionist history at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

That's much better.

It's likely they have the same problem. See if any of this sounds familiar for either one of them.

Bill Ayers = Timothy McVeigh of the left.

If politics could be graphed, we would have a circle tangent to a baseline.....

The point of intersection with the baseline is what I will call the "proper point of politics".

If you you have two people, one moving left and one moving right, eventually they meet on the "backside".

At that point, you are so far removed from the "proper point of politics" that it doesn't matter which direction you came from. You are the exactly opposite where you should be.

Hitler was there, Stalin was there, McVeigh and Ayers were/are there, and I believe Obama could be heading there.

Coincidentally (or maybe not) the "backside" is also called an A$Z Hole!

I'm seeing a possible score of 40 for both of them. We would need more info about the childhoods for them both.

I have no idea what #19 is. "19. Revocation of conditional release"

#19 means that they were released from incarceration conditionally and had it revoked for breaking the conditions. But, yes, both would seem to score very high based on what we know.
