if there is a legally cognizable issue as to eligibility, the SCOTUS must (and, I believe, would) do its job, regardless of timing.
I pray so. I think Thomas, Scalia, Roberts and Alito have the b***s to do it. Is there one more on the Court that anyone thinks might side with them?

I think the only other Justice who might stand with the four Conservatives would be Anthony Kennedy (Reagan appointee). We can forget Souter, Breyer, Ginsburg and Stevens. And, Kennedy is “iffy”.
