Journalists just can't seem to get things right.
Somehow, I don't think that was the reason.
Some of the comments below the article are more interesting than the article itself. I particularly like the comments of “FreeAmerica 5”, whoever he or she might be.

You know, one rabid Obama supporter (or paid booster) did raise an interesting point. Why aren’t policians of all stripes, but particularly Republications, talking about this? I think many, if not most, are well aware of the position and fully realise Obama’s lack of eligibility.
I responded that they are either afraid of the fallout if he is disqualified (rioting etc.) or his revenge on them if he is not. However, its still odd that, just like in the media, the issue is totally buried. No one will touch it. Conservatives are often accused of conspiracy, but this seems to be a lulu.
Two words; race riot
This country has endured far greater challenges than a fraud
seeking the presidency.
Either we stand by our constitution or we will surely lose it.

The threat of race riots is the worst possible reason to abandon the Constitution.

I am blessed with having made decisions over the decades that insulate me from the worst of the future that I see, but it is gonna be some rough sledding for the crowd that supported the current group of politicians, which I suppose is Karma in a way.
one of the obamabots posted an article by a newspaper..I think washington post..that quoted the contact person about the quote from the director..and in those emails and telephone conversations they claim this person said that the Director, in fact, meant Obama was born in hawaii.
I think it was the poster “curosity” that posted it.
Here is the article where someone from the Tribune claims an employee from Hawaii supposedly says Obama was born in hawaii.

A certificate of birth merely states that Obama was born not hatched. It is not a birth certificate. There is a difference.
