Giuliani Hails Obama Presidency [RINO alert]
Sky News ^ | 2008-12-06 | Ian Woods

Former Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani has told Sky News the election of Barack Obama will make America "an honest nation and not a hypocritical one".

Even though Mr Giuliani became a supporter of John McCain after seeing his own bid for the presidency fail, he acknowledged the President-elect would improve his country's image abroad.

Mr Giuliani, whose reputation was forged while he was mayor of New York, particularly at the time of the September 11 attacks, now gives lectures on leadership skills and is in the country attending the Leaders in London conference.

He says Mr Obama has a tremendous opportunity to build a global consensus because of his international support - and that could help tackle the economic crisis.

He says the election of America's first black president should be welcomed by Republicans as well as Democrats.

Giuliani should know better than to praise the one who hobknobs with terrorists and funders of terrorism.

Another FReeper wrote this and posted it during the primaries when we were working to defeat Rudy on FR. I don’t know who it was, but I thought it was funny.

That’s the name

He, along with McCain, should be flushed as the TURDS they are, right down the toilet.

The TWO most liberal 2008 GOP candidates, the TWO most disgusting in my opinion.

No, I’ve been here for years and years. I hope you get some sort of satisfaction kicking a corpse like Giuliani. It’s not going to make any difference.

Why don’t you gather up some muskets and patriots and take to the mountains instead of wasting your time shoveling more dirt on a corpse?

HEY NOW!

Corpses can do some serious damage to your brains if you don't put them down once and for all.

Well, he got one thing right...

“I think that Sarah Palin got a bad rap by the media because she defies some of the political correctness that the American media wants to see in a candidate,” he said.

“They certainly don’t want a really attractive Conservative - attractive not only physically because she is a beautiful woman, but attractive in terms of her personality and her charisma. She is the worst nightmare of the liberal press.”

Coming from the mayor of the city that was targeted by terrorism, Giuliani’s statements are dishonest and the height of hypocrisy.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."
