Pakistani militants torch Humvees for western forces

PESHAWAR, Pakistan (Reuters) - Hordes of Pakistani militants set on fire 96 trucks carrying Humvees and military vehicles for Western forces in Afghanistan in a raid in the northwestern city of Peshawar on Sunday, police said.

Security guards said they were overpowered by more than 200 militants who attacked two terminals on Peshawar's ring road, where trucks carrying Humvees and other military vehicles were parked.

"It happened at around 2.30 a.m.. They fired rockets, hurled hand grenades and then set ablaze 96 trucks," senior police officer, Azeem Khan, told Reuters.

I disagree. I think that India can well take care of the problem. And so can China and Russia. This is not our issue.

No I am not missing the elephant in the living room. I see it clearly. I just happen to think that India, China and Russia can cope with this Moslem problem in their territories. I think that the US citizens should be focused on that elephant that is in our country. It is easy to want to fight wars in Asia, what about the problems we have in Dearborn and other cities? Let’s keep our focus on our self defense.

I am not missing anything. The governments in Asia, believe it or not, are also aware of the importance of Mecca to the Islamics. Let them act. We have enough illegal and Islamic issues here to keep us busy.

I vote too. And the States would be upset if India interfered in our internal matters. I have become more libertarian politically. And I now think that Americans who work overseas need their companies to hire protection. Black water and other firms are there for a reason. The United States and its citizens have no reason to think that they are safe anywhere else in the world. And God knows that we have a lot to do to insure our own citizen’s safety.
