Hey, you're the one who claimed that Donofrio's case was still pending. I didn't bring it up. You. And when you couldn't back it up, you first tried the fob it off on others, and now you're playing the "La dee da, I don't care" card. You're like a four year old girl.

Hmmmm, weird. No one else is responding on this thread, FReepers who thought the item was worthy of comment. If even they don’t think it’s worthy of comment, and it’s low on my care-o-meter, then that makes this thing even lower on my care-o-meter. It looks like even calling me a 4 year old girl hasn’t brought out any ire nor indignation. So the typical trolling behaviors don’t even work. What is a troll like you to do? More insults? Well, if you really care, I’m sure you’ll come up with something constructive rather than your usual teardown behavior. I guess we’ll all see about that.

I did come up with something constructive: the link that allows you to search the SCOTUS docket to see what cases are pending there. I looked up Donofrio and posted the results. I suggested you do the same to challenge my results if you could.

Now, what have you brought to the conversation other than your indignance that claims you can't support have been challenged?

Seriously, have you gone to Donofrio's website and read the document that he posts as his filing before the court? There's only one: the application for stay which was explictly denied. There's nothing else.

Thanks for the clarification. Somewhere along the way, I’d gotten the impression that Thomas’s original referral was unusual, but perhaps what was unusual was a plaintiff re-filing with a 2nd justice rather than accepting the loss and going home.

It starts to look to me, like it’s just referring to cases that were pending until that time.
