Every deranged event like this will just work to build a massive concensus in the U.S. against the homosexual agenda.

ProGay group chairman Frank van Dalen said Monday the event is intended to increase the choices for homosexual men and women during the Christmas holiday week. "Right now, there's not much to do," he said. OK...so gay people are just like us...but in a city that has single parents, traditional married parents, childless couples and singles of every age, the only folks who have nothing to do during Holy Week are gays.
Yeah, that's flying with me. I totally buy it. And don't forget, folks...if you ever imply that gays are not able to be good Christians, you're a hate-monger.

"Christmas is about more than religion, it's also about love and families, not to mention shopping," he said. I wonder what he'd say if someone forced their conservative church's float into a gay pride parade, saying "Gay Pride Week is about more than gayness, it's also about heterosexuals and their churches?"

Massively ego-centric. It’s all about Me. Christmas is an observance of a religious event. Society has recreated a holy season into this secular holiday based on self-gratification.
Maybe they need to celebrate Festivus.

You’re right about ego. It’s like me going to San Fran during Gay Pride Week and pouting that there’s not more fun activities appropriate for a Scoutmaster from the Midwest.

Someone needs to tell Pinky that Christmas is not about packing fudge.

Van Dalen can take his wink and shove it. Oh yeah, he'd probably LIKE that.
Amsterdam was a vice-pit 30 years ago when I visited. I can't imagine what a cesspool it is now.

They’ve made damn near EVERYTHING “gay.”
The part they love best is the old yule log.
