“”Christmas is about more than religion, it’s also about love and families, not to mention shopping,” he said.”
Not to mention offending Christians.
How much longer, oh Lord?

The festival will also encourage people to think about homosexuality and religion, Van Dalen added. Yes, especially if the pictures get out on the web.

Van Dalen said it was not intended to be offensive, but was meant as a "wink" at heterosexual assumptions. Try making a homosexual joke there, as "a 'wink' at homosexual assumptions" and see how fast you get put in jail for a "hate crime".

A Dutch gay group said Monday it has planned a "Pink Christmas" festival for the first time in Amsterdam, featuring a manger stall with two Josephs and two Marys.I think they forgot Satan.

“A study last month found that homophobia is an ingrained problem in the city despite the Dutch reputation for tolerance, and physical attacks on gay men are a weekly affair.”
Don’t they also have a large Muslim populace in the Netherlands. Uh, let’s see, gays and the ROP together....could that be why there are attacks on gays weekly???

I believe some of these fags have taken the line “Don we now our gay apparel” a bit too literally.
And am I the only human outraged that they have hijacked some of our words. Words like “gay.” And now they’re trying to hijack one of our Christian holidays. It’s gotta stop.
There’s nothing gay about dying at an average age of 43 from an HIV ravaged immune system because these folks do some really stupid and disgusting things to one another.

So if the ROP decides they should exact devine retribution against these “activists” in the form of decapitations, it seems to me the more tolerant decision would be to tolerate murders. I mean, anybody can demonstrate tolerance for one´s “sexual preference,” but it takes another level of toleration to tolerate the taking of another´s life.

Every deranged event like this will just work to build a massive concensus in the U.S. against the homosexual agenda.

ProGay group chairman Frank van Dalen said Monday the event is intended to increase the choices for homosexual men and women during the Christmas holiday week. "Right now, there's not much to do," he said. OK...so gay people are just like us...but in a city that has single parents, traditional married parents, childless couples and singles of every age, the only folks who have nothing to do during Holy Week are gays.
Yeah, that's flying with me. I totally buy it. And don't forget, folks...if you ever imply that gays are not able to be good Christians, you're a hate-monger.

"Christmas is about more than religion, it's also about love and families, not to mention shopping," he said. I wonder what he'd say if someone forced their conservative church's float into a gay pride parade, saying "Gay Pride Week is about more than gayness, it's also about heterosexuals and their churches?"

Van Dalen can take his wink and shove it. Oh yeah, he'd probably LIKE that.
Amsterdam was a vice-pit 30 years ago when I visited. I can't imagine what a cesspool it is now.
