Yep. Moral absolutes no longer matter. The dam broke when the majority of Americans demanded Terri Schiavo be put to death by the state in the name of "family autonomy," moral absolutes be damned.

I think morals went down the tubes in 1973 when Americans started legally killing their own. But I do agree with you statement as well, but just think it started a bit earlier than you did. We agree though.

The vast majority of Americans don't even know who Terri Shiavo is.
