The tapes apparently exonerate Barrack - the governor is quoted as saying that Obama wanted the pick “for nothing”, other than appreciation. The governor is dirty, but there’s no evidence (yet) that Obama had any involvement in anything illegal. That may very well change, because for all his bluster, the Gov doesn’t look like someone who will do well on the inside of even the poofiest minimum security joint.
