According to a freeper friend who lived in Chicago during her youth, Michelle baby sat for the Jackson children when she was in high school often spending days with the family. She is very close to Jackie Jackson. (11 years younger than MO)

Well, now, what about the land and natural resources it has?
Instead of 'cap and trade' and pi$$ing down the alternative energy rathole, how about incentives to develop the coal, oil and gas, oil shale, etc that the government owns? Produce those resources (on half of the land west of the Mississippi), and the government could be collecting royalties on the production.
Placing tariffs on imported oil to maintain a base price (phase out the tax up to the base price as price goes up) would not only guarantee multisector employment, but would put money in the coffers as well.

The socialist plan is in fact to spend us broke. If you study history you will find that the left takes over a country by first causing exactly the type of economic problems we see today.
