The Truth is that long, long ago, Adam and Eve were given this black rock (a meteorite) to mark where they should pray to Allah. Then, thousands of years later, Abraham came to Mecca to pray and he was about to sacrifice his son Ishmael (ancestor Of Mo), but Allah stopped him and gave him a goat to sacrifice (hence the term Bakri (goat) Eid). Are you serious, is that the Islamic version of the story? I've always thought the Dome of the Rock marked the place where they contend old Ishmael was almost sacrificed?
