The real issue is why won’t BO simply produce the document and silence this issue.

That attitude is gonna bite us hard when a foreign government questions the legitimacy of an agreement or treaty with the USA. Or worse when someone like Iran captures some of our soldiers and accuses them of unlawfully operating under orders of an illegitimate leader.

After all, what will he do? Say "eff em" and let our soldiers go to trial, or will he come clean? Either thing will do serious damage to the credibility of America.
