Sounds about right. That's when the last 'cold cycle' was ending. The warming started then, and went on until about 1999, then it started cooling again. Looks like the cooling will be bad for a bit, though, because of the lack of sunspots. The new cycle has had less than 10, and is almost a year long, and the longer the diminished number continues, the cooler it stays, here on earth.
