In my heart of hearts I know this isn’t going to have legs but it sure does give me goosebumps just thinking about the possibility!

It wouldn’t hurt. Also, contact the White House and your two senators.

It’s none of those things to the American sheeple until Katie Couric, Brian Williams, and Charlie Gibson say it is.

Watergate was only big because Sam Ervin and Dan Rather said it was, and then Howard Henry Baker, Jr., hopped on for the ride too.

Oh please God let Fitz have a big enough ego to want this on his resume.

My father was shown last night the disappearing news articles. I explained how they could have easily issued an update of a statement by Obama claiming he never had a meeting. But NO, they had to pretend nothing happened.

He had to finally, finally begrudgingly admit that the press was covering for Obama. And that they wiped the article out kind of scared him a little.

He is liberal.

"Prosecutor Fitzgerald would sell his children to be the only man in history to indict a President-Elect. Team Hussein better have somebody in Fitzgeralds office RFN spilling every single detail of every single contact he's had with Blago since the election. Fitzgerald practically begged them to in his presser the other day."

As to the former, I do hope that Fitzgerald is so ambitious and sees himself as the pure White Night who cannot be swayed by opinion or politics. As to the latter, interesting take. Presstitute commentator Jonathon Turley said Fitzgerald made the plea because he was forced to roll up Blago too early and doesn't have the goods. *snicker*

That said, it is interesting that BO's camp was totally kept in the dark and blindsided by this speaks volumes...

I agree, I think Blago’s thinking right now is to take Obama down. Nothing lost and nothing gained at this point in the game.

Maybe a Mexican Stand-Off, but I don’t want to get into Immigration Policy at this point in time.

JMHO.

“It appears one of O’s problems may be that as the front man, he isn’t always aware of the strings his handlers are pulling in the background.”

That will eventually be the claim, but it too... will be a lie.

It does have the hallmarks of that drip, drip, drip of scandal thatr I remember all too well.

Where will it go? We’re just at the beginning of the process. but I hope people are keeping track of all Obama (and team Obama) statements, timelines, etc. I think this scandal will be with us for a while.

Bigger than Watergate, yes. Here you have collusion, yes collusion to sell a senate seat, one of 100 most influential people in this country that affect all our lives for money, gifts, deeds, whatever you want to call them. That is much bigger than a third rate political burglary. It is quite scary some see this as not that big of a deal.

What is really scary is that our president-elect seems nonchalant about this instead of being outraged. Almost as if he were a part of it????????

The claim alone that a senator elected President would have no contact with the man empowered to appoint his replacement in the senate for better than a month after the election is not believable.
