Well we don’t know for sure what his parents named him at birth but the Certificate of Live Birth lists him as Barack Hussein Obama II. Since Barack Hussein Obama was the name of his father then Obama should be Junior, not II. If his grandfather were named Barack Hussein Obama and his father had a different name then he could be II.

The long-time employees of the protocol office of the White House are going to be tearing their hair out. Somebody should give these vulgarians an etiquette book so they learn about Jr. versus II, what fork to use at dinner and why one doesn’t dress a child in a black dress.

Please note: The document you reference is titled "Certification of Live Birth".

It is not a Certificate of Live Birth. Major difference. Please see the earlier post with copies of the two different documents. etc
