Yea, they don't need no help. No tarps, no care packages. Some of us like to acknowledge the fantastic job they are doing though. We all know they can handle it mean dog. You can go to MAF or dozens of other organizations to send them some goodies if you would like to.

I do send packages...this is what grunts like (if you want to send one too):
Cigars (preferably Punch, Fuegos, Cohibas instead of White Owl, etc.)
Snuff (Copenhagen preferred)
Hot sauce (Texas Pete or Tobasco...kills the taste of MREs)
Gum (any brand)
Dried fruit, smoked oysters, and good sardines
Sun block (even in winter)
Cans of Beanie Weenies (always a favorite)

You can stay away from such items as crossword puzzles, popular coffee table magazines (unless porn), hankerchiefs, or fancy food items (like Godiva chocolate). Grunts don't read, eat or use them!

I can cope with any amount of heat you can throw at me, I love heat. But Cold weather destroys me. And the conditions those guys are in is just plain demoralizing.

Fortunately our guys are a heck of a lot better equipped to deal with it, it must now suck being an AlQuaider........
