Start using California’s resources, like the offshore oil. The state that lives by environmental kooks, dies by environmental kooks. Shut off the border spigot, and turn on the oil spigot. Cheap labor gets paid for, one way or the other, but cheap energy equals wealth. Put some real conservatives in charge for the next 15 years, and California’s problems can be fixed. Otherwise, things will continue getting worse, even if Congress bails California out of this mess.
