Actually, this is pretty much in line with winters I recall from 25-30 years ago. It is supposed to warm up to single digits above zero some time later in the week. It sure beats -60 with a 40 mph wind (-146 wind chill)

That is the coldest I have been out in. A cup of water thrown out into that would freeze on the way to the ground.

You have to keep your skin covered too don’t you. I’ve heard it would freeze in moments if you didn’t. I suppose you have to wear some kind of covering for your eyes too. Yikes.
