When I hear people (my folks) and others talk about the depression, one thing is clear...the focus is on family. They talk in terms of how “we got by” or “we didn’t have much” or “we looked after each other”. When I hear people talk about the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s I hear a lot of “I am all about this...” and “I am all about that.”...bring it on, maybe it comes with a silver lining after all!
