May I say for the record, that nothing would make me happier than to see Obama take his job and place in history seriously, throw all the crooks under the bus, as he has a habit of doing, and fake them all out and be a proud, great President.....

What you are saying is illogical. His whole life (adult life particularly) is based on deception, lying and ill-gotten gain and look what it has accomplished for him: the highest office in the WORLD.
There is no reason for him to “change”, that’s for US to be forced to do. He is a dictator in the making at the worst, at the least a Communist styled “strongman” having his goons, his worshipers, to do his will, this is the most dangerous kind of dictator, one that is idolized by millions like Hitler.
I think your chances of 0bama being the President you describe as one who throws the crooks under the bus is about as likely as you winning the lottery. Chances are slim and none based on the libs he has already surrounded himself with in his transition period.
Pray that the Republicans in the Senate have a backbone to fight everything coming out of Congress and the WH. It will only slow them down but proper opposition to what the libs are going to do to us should lay the groundwork for a resurgence in 2010 and 2012.
Remember the great old hymn, “This Is My Father's World.” The last verse says:
