Yeah, I bump into them...the usual giveaway is “I am a conservative but I voted for Obama” and there is no sarc alert...they also seem to lean toward the petty argument or legal parsing of terms...

I think I picked it up from one of Joel Rosenberg’s books - I can’t claim credit. It’s logically correct and has the ring of truth. Unless someone can offer scriptural evidence to the contrary, I’m going to presume it IS true.

Well....I wouldn’t say “nowhere”. More like....he came from the nether regions of the netherworld.
But seriously...this whole thing has been surreal. The fact that just seven years after 9/11 the US not only elects a black man with three arab names, including Hussein (same as Saddam) is absolutely bizarre. Add to that the distinct possibility that he is, in fact, a Muslim, which is probably what he’s trying to hide on his REAL birth certificate. If any of us had been told back then that this would happen, we wouldn’t have believed it. Too far-fetched!
And when I think of how ‘supposed’ Christians voted for him despite his infanticide stance...and how even liberals that are pro-gun ownership and NRA members voted for him, knowing full well that he was in favor of banning gun ownership (like in DC, he was against gun ownership before he was supposedly for it)...it all seems just a little too weird to believe. Not to mention the hero-like worship and adoration that’s been displayed. There’s definitely got to be something supernatural about it. I’m just glad I wasn’t one of the duped masses that were fooled or Obamatized.
We like to have these threads spread all over the place, keeps the trolls guessing.
