I read a lot of these techno-thriller fictional novels and quite a few have had scenarios of “bad guy” achieving some sort of mystical amulet, sword or incantation that allowed him to rule the world. It would have been funny except Hitler believed he had objects that gave him this very power like the spear that pierced Jusus.
I believe it’s in the Bible that in the end days, God will send the disbelievers a delusion....AS IF the lefties “needed” another delusion. Their whole lives are led under a delusion!
