MRSA is ubiquitous. Keeping it under control is a matter of knowing where it colonizes. Most often, it’s in the creases of the hands, and in the nares. That would indicate that picking your nose can spread it.
Unless you are convinced by some negative personal experience that MRSA is an STD, I wouldn’t fantasize about the teachers too much.

I should have put the sarc sign out. I had MSRA infection after heart surgery. Not fun at all.
