Maybe it depends on the state. I’ve always lived in Massachusetts, and I don’t have a copy of my birth certificate. I enrolled in two colleges (UMass/Amherst and Boston University), registered to vote, got a driver’s license, etc., and never had to show my birth certificate. I do not have a passport, as I have not traveled outside the United States.

Bull - I've lived in Mass all my life and you are lying! There is no way you were able to do all that without showing your BC. Just Bull!
