Now there will be just 1 Republican in statewide office in Colorado, the AG.

And he's running for the Senate in 2010.

Good. That seat is a must pickup. His office is up for election in 2010 so he wouldn't be handing it to an appointed rat like Coffman did.

Interesting thing is that Beuscher was defeated for reelection this year.

He was to be the next rat House Speaker. But his heavily Republican seat turned him out! But there's Ritter to help him avoid having to find honest work.

Yup, and SoS is a key seat, too. It’s why I opposed Coffman’s candidacy. I believe Gilligan-Sebelius in KS will appoint a Democrat to replace Lynn Jenkins as Treasurer.

Crud there's another one. I'm plain against this happening. If your current post would be filled by an appointed rat or one in the line of succession you should stay where you are. Call it the Deukmejian rule.

And one wonders how useful having a Republican is.

For sec of state it helps prevents ELECTION THEFT. See Minnesota and Ohio. Of course a RINO Sec of state in Washington State did nothing to help when the dims stole the gubernatorial election in 2004. :/

Not good given the Soros SoS project.

Yeah Soros knows the score. Helping election fraud and theft is a high priority for him. We need our own project. We're pathetic in down ballot state races. AGs and Secs of states being the most important
